Be sure you’ve followed the project guide and have all the expected components!
When you are completely done editing, you need to get your local changes (in YOUR repository) to the main Disruptive Expertise site that everyone sees.
Basically, you want me as the project manager to “pull” your changes from your repository to the “main” repository that makes the public website. In GitHub speak, this is called making a pull request.
If you have followed the assignment instructions, I will “accept” the request.
If you have not followed instructions, I don’t accept the pull request so that your page does not get merged with the main site. This process prevents mistakes, bugs, and misformatted pages from cluttering up everyone else’s hard work. You will get credit for turning in your assignment, but you are unlikely to get a high grade if your page is not working.
Pull Request nav link near the top.New Pull Request button.Create Pull Request button.Able to merge. If you don’t see that, you should just stop and send me an email.Create Pull Request button. After you make the pull request, there’s nothing else to do! If you notice that you missed a typo or something you can always make another change and another pull request. Thank you for all of your hard work to launch our new food archive! Once all the pull requests are approved, you should be able to see everyone else’s work at the main Disruptive Expertise website.
